Founder of RAWA & Mother
As a new mother, I experienced the universal challenge of understanding my infant’s needs. There was nothing out there that could help me understand my baby (besides mothers instincts), and help my baby communicate with me, and despite maternal instincts, the inability to verbally communicate often led to frustration and uncertainty. Seeking a solution, I turned to basic sign language that I have referred to from the book “Baby Signing”, teaching my child basic signs for hunger, tiredness, completion, and bath time.
